The display is outdoors on a well-lit pathway. You can plan on walking 3/4 mile including the walk from your car. Your time will vary depending on how long you pause to enjoy this one-of-kind display.

We will be open, even if it rains. Tickets are available for purchase at the display entrance on a first-come first-served basis. For more information please select your topic from the following list.

Accessibility

There is a limited mobility dropoff near the entrance.
The event will offer a limited mobility route, which is a mix of gravel and paved pathways. There are two gentle slopes to traverse on this route - one up and one down. A map of the limited mobility route is available at the event.

Limited Mobility Drop Off
Limited mobility drop-off is available at the Garden entrance.
The drop-off area is well marked and well lit. Please do not pull off the road in other areas. From I 405 take the NE 8th St exit going east. Turn right on 116th Ave NE. Go south .6 mile to SE 1st. Turn left a the light onto SE 1st. Wind up the hill, over the tracks, and turn right at the first light onto Main St. We're up the hill about 3 blocks on your right.

Assisted Groups
If you will be bringing senior citizens or people with limited mobility, please note the following suggestions:
  The ratio of caregiver to your guests should be about 1:5 – please stay with them to ensure their safety.
  There are some steps, inclines, gravel and puddles.
  All visitors should dress for the weather; non-skid shoes are recommended.
  Please allow at least 45 minutes for guests to stroll the garden and soak up the beauty!
  Accessibility Guides available upon request.

Buses

Buses may drop passengers off and pick them up in the bus loading zone at the Garden entrance. There is no bus parking.

Children
Children 10 and under are free every night and do not need tickets.

Garden d'Lights Maps
Children, ages 1 to 100, will enjoy finding the critters made entirely of lights. Maps are available at the entrance.

Entertainment
There is no scheduled entertainment during Garden d'Lights.

Free Nights
Free nights for 2016 are: Nov 28, 29, 30, Dec 1, 5, 6, 7, & 8. The event is free for everyone of these nights and tickets are not required. We try and accommodate everyone on free nights but there may be a wait.

Trillium Store        

The Trillium Store at the Garden is open every evening from 4:40-9:30pm during Garden d'Lights. Be sure to stop in. More Information....

Lost and Found

Please leave a message for the Garden Office at 425-452-2750.

Lost Ticket/No Printer
You can present an image of your ticket on your smartphone, or check-in at the ticket office when you arrive and we will look up your reservation.     

Member Tickets
Garden Society members will receive one free pass for an individual membership, or four for a family membership. We mail admission passes to current members in November. Bring them with you for admittance to the show on the night of your choice. Not a member yet? Join now at our secure website!

Pets

Service animals only within the Garden.

Photography

For professional photography shoots, please leave a message for the Garden Office at 425-452-2750 for photography permit information.

Refreshments and Restaurants
Hot drinks and snacks are available for purchase in the Aaron Education Center. There are no restaurants within easy walking distance of the Garden.

Refunds

Tickets are non-refundable unless we cancel the event. If we cancel, you will be notified by e-mail message. The following options are available:

 

1. Use ticket any other night, without re-booking. Be sure to bring original confirmation sheet; it is still your ticket to the event. Please check this website to be sure the event has not been cancelled on the new date chosen to attend.

2. If unable to attend on a different night, please consider supporting Garden d’Lights by donating your admission fee to the Bellevue Botanical Garden Society. No further action is required.

3. If the event is cancelled and customer would like a refund, email us with “Refund Request Gd’L” in the subject line. In the email, please state your name, address, phone number, the date of the show cancelled, and the order number provided at the time of the sale. Refund requests will be processed at the end of the show, in January, 2017.

Restrooms
Restrooms are located in the Visitor Center and near the Trillium Store.

Tickets
Please print and bring your online ticket for admission to the event or show your ticket on your smartphone. No tickets necessary on free nights; admission on free nights is on space-available basis; first come, first served.

You don't need to print your ticket if you can show it on your smartphone.

Time
Tickets are good for the whole evening; there are no set admission times. Last entry is at 9:00 pm.

Wait Times

While we plan carefully to make our system run smoothly, please be patient. Allow plenty of time for parking and entering the show. Every “staff” person you meet as you enter Garden d’Lights is a volunteer, enriching our community through their service.

Weather
The event goes on rain or shine every night including holidays. On occasion, it may be necessary to cancel the event because of snow, ice, high winds, or other adverse weather conditions. If you have a question about whether or not the event is open, please check the Garden d'Lights Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Gardendlights/) or contact our answering service at 888-959-6841 for updates.

Weddings
We are not able to accommodate wedding photography during Garden d'Lights. Please leave a message for the Garden Office at 425-452-2750 if you are interested in wedding photography.

Will Call
If you have a Will Call ticket please pick it up at the Ticket booth.
